This beaker was manufactured by Royal Doulton at Burslem, to commemorate the 1902 coronation of King Edward VII and his consort Queen Alexandra. It is cream pottery, with a light brown transfer-printed design showing portraits of the King and Queen, and an inscription which reads 'Long life and happiness to King Edward VII and his beloved consort Queen Alexandra crowned June 26, 1902'. It is also inscribed on the bottom 'Royal Doulton, England'. It was initially collected by a Miss A. H. Walker.
