This is a rounder plane, also known as a 'pole shave'. It is a woodworking tool used for rounding components such as ladder rungs. It was used by a carpenter in Enstone, Oxfordshire and was also previously found in a workshop in Cleveley, Oxfordshire

It measures 9.5 inches wide and the blade is 3.5 inches wide.
