[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
These two metal frame ends formed part of a wagon; their exact use is not clear. They are coloured red and yellow, and have ears of wheat depicted at each end as decoration. They were, according to the donor, made at Crowmarsh, Berkshire in 1801. It is not known whether this refers to Preston Crowmarsh or Crowmarsh Gifford, which are both located just north of Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
