[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
This scribe, probably for use on a large rear wagon wheel, or a cart wheel, was found in the wheelwright's shop in Braishfield, Hampshire. It has 7 holes near the bottom and 14 near the top. One of these is still plugged with a wooden peg. The museum holds little other information about its use.
