This bow saw was used by the donor, who was employed in a small chair factory in West Wycombe, which employed five craftsmen. Bow saws consist of a saw blade mounted in a frame which is kept taut with a twisted cord and toggle stick. The frame of this bow saw is inscribed 'H. M.' on the left hand side.
