This is the bit from a mill bill, a tool used for dressing a millstone. It originally came from New Mill, in Tring, Hertfordshire. It is stamped with an image of a crown and the words 'EXTRA CAST STEEL' on one side, and 'Will-m Oxley & Company, Rotheram' and a trademark on the other side.
