[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
This measure was used on the farm at Great Cornard, in Suffolk. It has no verification marks on it, so was probably used for rough measuring on the farm. It has the initials 'J. W. B.' stamped on the bottom. It is made of birch wood, in two pieces, bottom and sides. The sides have been bent by steaming and then the ends nailed over one another.
