MERL 'Catalogue index' card – 'This is a folding corkscrew with two spring joints in the stem. The handle is curved and is also faceted and grooved. When open the corkscrew is 4.2 inches long and when closed it fits into the span of the handle which is 3 inches.', Victoria & Albert Museum No. M351, 1917.
