This small putty knife was used by the donor's father, who was a wheelwright and carpenter in Braishfield, Hampshire. It is slightly rounded, but tapers to a point, and is attached to a carved bone handle. The blade is stamped 'THOMAS TURNER SUFFOLK WORKS SHEFFIELD', the name of the makers.
