'The Betterway patent egg grader’ scales is made of Bakelite. An egg grader is used for sorting eggs into different grades by weight. The egg grader has measurements of medium, standard and special. It was made in England, probably mid 20th century. The scales separate into two parts. See related Clem Shaw archive collection DX2364.
