Marx Tinplate 'sparkling' clockwork crawler tractor in illustrated end-opening box. Yellow red and black tractor 'Marx 5' numbering on all sides. Four equal sized plastic wheels over which black rubber tracks are fitted. The fixed wind-up key is located on the offside. Driver in blue trousers, white shirt, red neckerchief and yellow and black chequered cap. The sparkling from the exhaust was probably created with a piezo element inside the tractor's body. Front slot for fixing a 'plough' attachment, which is not included (see box). Model by Marx from a large collection of British manufactured toy farm vehicles and implements.
