[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
This is a single barrelled sporting gun with a percussion cap lock. It is muzzle loading and has a wooden ram rod. There is some inlay on the barrel, a silver plaque on the stock and a metal casing to the end of the stock. It is inscribed 'A Reed London'. This probably refers to Archibald Reed, who was a gunmaker in Commercial Place, London from 1831 to 1838, and City Road, London from 1839 to 1858.
