This print, titled 'The Cow Herd' was published in August 1708 by J & J Boydell, of Cheapside, London. The original was painted by Paul Potter, and engraved by G.S. & I.G. Facius. The print was dedicated to the Prince of Orange. It bears the inscription: 'Engraved from a most capital picture as large as life being The Chef D'Ouvre of P. Potter'.
