[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
This lamp was obtained by the donor at or near Davos, Switzerland, in about 1920. It is of a type apparently not used in England. It consists of a round stem standing on six legs and ending in a hook at the other end. A square pan with pinched out corners slides up and down the stem so that the height of the light could be adjusted. The pan was filled with oil and a wick inserted in each of the corners so that four points of light were formed. The lamp could be hung up by the hook.
