This is the bottom half of the leather carrying case for a grain moisture tester. The ‘Grainmaster’, manufactured by Protimeter Ltd., is a grain moisture tester for measuring moisture and temperature levels in crops. This tester was used by the donor at Oak House Farm in Hampstead Norreys, Berkshire, where he was a foreman in the 1970s–1990s, and was last used at some point in the 1990s. It comprises several parts and comes in a leather carrying case.
