This printing block was used by the engineering company John Gordon & Co. John Gordon & Co manufactured coffee machinery, including coffee peelers and pulpers. This wooden pattern, from p.A135 of the September 1905 issue, shows the 'Rice Washer'. It dates from the early twentieth century.
