This printing block was used by the engineering company John Gordon & Co. John Gordon & Co manufactured coffee machinery, including coffee peelers and pulpers. This wooden pattern, from p.R81 of the June 1911 issue, shows the 'Rice Separator'. It dates from the early twentieth century.
