Ivory, rectangular shape with two compartments, each with a seperate hinged lid. The lids are lockable. Decorated on all sides with embossed scenes from the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Hinged lifting handle. The biscuits were made by Huntley and Palmers and the tin was made by Huntley, Boorne & Stevens in 1899.
