This pair of scales, of the spring balance type, can measure weights up to 30lbs. They are inscribed with 'SALTER'S improved Spring Balance. WARRANTED.' and are marked in fours to 28lbs. They have a ring at one end from which they would be hung, and a hook at the other from which the item to be weighed would be suspended.
