This Sussex turn wrest plough originates from Pound Farm, Horsham, Sussex. It has no wheels, and was drawn by three horses in tandem, so was good for work in heavy soils, but required a very skilled ploughman. Turn wrest ploughs turned the furrow over in one direction only.
