A lacemaking pillow covered in blue velvet and with a blue braid. It has a roller covered with blue wool inserted into it to which a paper pattern is pinned. Alongside the pillow are numerous wooden bobbins painted red and black, hand-drawn and printed patterns, and a selection of lace samples. The pieces are believed to be French.
