A wooden bobbin, 32 cm in length, for collecting made-up twine as it was drawn and stranded. The bobbin was used from the nineteenth century until 1968 at the North Mills Twine Room. It was acquired from Bridport Gundry Ltd., a firm of rope-makers in Bridport, Dorset.
