A crease is a saddlery tool used to make a line in leather. This can be either decorative, practical, or both. A single crease has just a single, fairly blunt, blade. This single crease was used by a saddler and cobbler in Yattendon, Berkshire, who had worked there from 1901 until the early 1960s.
