This is a toy horse and cart. It is made of wood, possibly mahogany, and shows a horse, with leather harness, pulling a cart painted green with red wheels. It has metal tyres and removable ladders. The toy was made for Charles Neeld, a 2 year old boy in Deptford, in 1860, by a friend of his grandfather's, a Mr Cripps.
