Their life and family histories are examined, including the following: definitions of Gypsy, ethnicity and adoptions, nuclear and extended families and their genealogy, origins and early history, lifestyle and livelihood, religion, poetry, ceremonial cleanliness, birth, marriage, death customs, group status/feuds, superstition, crafts, poaching, encounters with Royalty, special recipes, the Law, plus Criminal Justice Act, site provision, crime by Gypsies, persecution and vocabulary.
