A blow lamp, used for heating the combustion chamber of a stationary oil engine prior to starting, and a pricker, used for keeping the fuel jet clear. It consists of a brass primus-type pressure lamp, with a long nozzle to carry the flame and direct it into a jet. It was manfuactured by B. A. Hjorth & Co. of Stockholm, Sweden. It is believed to date from the 1920s.
