This dubbing needle is a fly tying tool. It consists of a handle with a short sharp needle protruding from it. Dubbing needles have very fine barbs on them, and are used to catch and tear surface fibres on a tied fly to give it a bigger appearance. This dubbing needle was purchased from a fishing tackle specialist in Reading.
