This pair of horse riding spurs was used by Henry Page, the donor's great-grandfather, who was a carrier in Gallowstree Common and Kidmore End. The donor's family were farriers and carriers in the Gallowstree Common area in the early twentieth century. They are stamped 'maxwell' on the spur arm and 'PICADILLY LONDON' on the pin.
