Descrizione
A large wooden tool box with a hinged lid, metal handles and a lock. It has two sliding trays with compartments inside and was donated to the Museum along with the tools it contained. The box (and tools) dates from the nineteenth century and belonged initially to William Dadswell, who used it in the Burgess Hill region of West Sussex and later in Abinger Hammer in Surrey. The box and tools then passed to his son George Dadswell, and later to his son William Dadswell.
