One of the many crafts of interest at the moment is rope making and we have demonstrated this rope-making skill at many of the local shows in Somerset and this has proved extremely popular with the audiences. Any information you could let me have concerning any of these rural crafts would be very much appreciated. I shall be sending you a sample of our rope and also some photographs of our rope-making machine which I hope will be of interest to you, sometime in the future. We have just started besom broom making and ash hurdle making and we are endeavouring to make a start on wattle fencing.’
