Description
This pair of compasses was made by a Yorkshire blacksmith, George Bell, who used the compasses for over sixty years. The donor acquired them as a boy from George Bell, and used them for over sixty years. They have a steel marker, so that they could withstand use on sheet iron, and a fixing screw for adjustment.
