Description
This is a model of a threshing machine, in a wooden case with a glass front. It was made by the donor’s paternal uncle, James Fisher, of Fyfield, Oxfordshire, in 1862. It passed through the family to the donor’s cousin, then brother, and eventually to the donor. It was exhibited at the Rural Industries Bureau stand at the Oxfordshire County Show at some point.
