Description
This churn is made of tinned steel. It has a strong rim at the base and two brass bands around the body of the churn. Between these there is an engraved plate inscribed 'Mrs. Hayward, New Milk, Cornard'. It has two handles rivetted into position on the sides. It was used for the transporting and storage of milk for sale. It was made by Harry Spencer, of Sudbury, Suffolk, in 1924.
