Description
This is an original poster for the 1971 film Straw Dogs. The film was directed by Sam Peckinpah and starred Dustin Hoffman and Susan George. It was loosely based on the novel 'The Siege of Trenchers Farm' by Gordon Williams, 1969, and follows the story of an American who retreats with his Cornish wife to a quiet location in the country but finds violence in himself. It was described as a 'west country Western'. The film was shot on location in Cornwall, in the St Buryan area and in Morvah.
