Description
This tool was used for manually clearing out ditches and drains. It is complete with wooden handle. There is also an inscription on the scoop 'BULLDOG // MADE IN ENGLAND'.

MERL miscellaneous note –Georgia Charitou- 24 October 2014- Collection of drainage tools accumulated by ADAS Soil and Research Centre in Cambridge. In May 1994 the Director of the Centre, D. A. Castle, retired, and the centre itself was due for reorganisation and probable relocation. The collection at that point was donated to the Museum.
