Description
Eight lacquered metal lids of various sizes for preserving jars, used by the donor's mother in the 1920s. Four of the lids have an extra rim and were used for vacuum bottles manufactured by Fowler, Lee and Co. Ltd., a fruit, vegetable and game bottling appliance manufacturing company based in Reading.
