Description
This is a bowl shaped mould turned from one piece of wood, used for making Dutch style cheeses. It has a pedestal base with a small drainage hole in it. There is a groove around the mould 3cm from the top. It is old and well used with several bad cracks. The wooden follower has a handle and is concave on the inside. This item was donated as part of a collection of dairy related objects from the University of Reading Department of Food Science.
