Description
This is a chaff cutter, which is used for cutting short lengths of straw to use in livestock feed (there not being enough natural chaff produced during screening). This cutter is driven by steam power, the stand has a wheel and star pattern. The cutter was manufactured by John Wilder, Yield Hall Foundry, Reading.
