Description
This is an oven peel, a tool used for lifting food in and out of an oven. Oven peels were sometimes made entirely of wood, but this peel is made of iron, and has a short iron handle. Nothing is known of the origins of this peel.

Half of the circumference is worn away to produce an irregular edge. The peel has a short iron handle 8 inches long. Two small holes are pierced in the front of the handle. Nothing is known of the origin of the peel.'
