This fruit preserving 'skin' was produced by Porosan and was intended for use in jam and preserve making. This object features the original packaging, featuring the maker's name and details, and was bought by the donor from Geo. Fowler, Lee and Co., Reading, in approximately the 1960s. This item contains one sheet of 'skin' measuring 18 x 36cm, twine for securing the 'skins' around the tops of the jar once cut, and instructions for use.
