Description
This is a very common type of toaster made for use in front of a grate or raised hearth. It consists of a toasting fork supported from a three legged trivet. The fork is adjustable, both in height and extension, as it is fitted to a slide which slides through the upright stem, and is held in place by a friction spring. The upright stem itself slides on one of the legs of the trivet and is also held in place by a friction spring.
