Description
This milking stool was used by the donor's grandfather, Alfred Thompson. He was a tenant farmer at Townsend Farm, Didmarton, on the Beaufort Estate. It is a rectangular seat with a rounded underside. It has a vertical leg at one end and two splayed legs at the other end (although one has broken off and is missing).
