‘Market Day’ is a children’s board game in which 2–4 players in which each player tries to buy a horse, sheep, cow and pig to complete their farm. The game was first manufactured by Ravensburger, Germany, in 1984, and was distributed in the UK by Fisher-Price. These sixteen playing pieces pop out of the playing board. There are four horses, cows, sheep and pigs, and it is these which players must try to buy. The game also contains a game board, rules, various game cards, and a dice.
