Description
A tinned steel bucket which is wider at the top than the bottom. The rim at the base acts as a stand and the opening at the top is half covered. There is a fixed carrying handle and another handle near the base used for tipping the bucket when emptying it. The bucket was used for milking, the design of the top helps to prevent dirt falling into the milk. This item was used at Hertfordshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture, St. Albans.
