Description
This is a sampler all in cross stitch, using green, red, pink, orange, black and pale green. The embroidery was done by Isabella Wooden in 1820 at Barrow in Furness. The sampler was hung in the Craig House, The Square at Barrow on Furness in the 1880s.

Executed in Green, red, pink, orange, black, pale green. All in cross stitch on the tapestry principle. Hung in Craig house the square Barrow in Furness from 1880s- home of Mrs Frearson of above address. Made by Isabella Woodend in 1820 at Barrow in Furness.’
