Description
This is a round pewter teapot with a decorated lid, spout and handle. The spout is positioned near the bottom of the pot, and the handle is insulated with two rings of wood at the top and bottom. It was made by Broadhead & Co. of Sheffield and is marked with the number 541.

MERL 'Catalogue index' card – 'This is a rather ugly pewter tea pot. The handle is insulated with two rings of wood at the top and the bottom. The lid is hinged to the pot and the spout and handle are soldered. The pot has been mended by soldering at some time. The lid, spout and handle are ornamented. It was made by Broadhead and Co. of Sheffield and bears the number 541.', No Lavinia Smith No. recorded.
