Description
This is a coulter, a plough part which hangs from the beam and cuts the ground before the share. This is a knife coulter, made of iron. It was dredged from a gravel pit at Ashford, Kent.

September 1961. Pleistocene bones have also been obtained from this put. Collected by workmen and given to present owner. To be retained by museum if interested.'
