Descripción
These two wooden hames, attached at the top by a piece of rope, were for use with an ox. They came from Mawgan in Cornwall and are believed to date from the late-nineteenth century. According to the donor, local opinion had it that this type of hame was stuffed with straw, and was in use in Cornwall at the beginning of the twentieth century.
