This is a packet of Cooper's Sheep Dipping Powder. It consists of yellow paper packaging containing a yellow powder. The packaging is inscribed: 'Cooper's Sheep Dipping Powder // The best known means of // Destroying all the ticks // Stopping the fly // Preventing & curing the scab // Promoting the growth of wool // and improving the appearance and condition of the flock'. It was previously a part of the collections of The Wellcome Trust, and was given as part of a collection said to date from c.1900-1972.
