Eight blue bags made from thick paper and folded flat and stamped 'Sugar // 3lbs gross'. They were used in the grocery trade for weighing out loose sugar, and during World War Two the sugar element of harvest rations for farm workers was issued in this type of bag. The bags belonged to the donor's father, whose brother was a grocer in the Bracknell area in Berkshire from 1908.
